CLAS Advocacy Days for ALA-CASE
CLAS Advocacy Days for ALA-CASE are February 14, 2024, and May 1, 2024. Advocacy days are an opportunity for ALA-CASE members to get an up-close view of the legislative process in Montgomery. Attendees will begin their day in Montgomery at the CLAS office with an update on bills affecting education, sharing about education issues they are facing, and prepping to meet with their legislators. Members will then visit the Alabama State House to attend legislative committee meetings, watch floor action, and meet with legislators to relay legislative priorities, tell their personal stories, and develop relationships with lawmakers for the benefit of their schools. Members select from morning or afternoon sessions and lunch will be provided by CLAS. Participants must be a CLAS member. Click here to register if you are interested in this important work, and thank you for your service to the students of Alabama. Please email questions to Whitney@clasleaders.org.
